About LaFleche Roofing
In an industry as specialized as flat roofing, experience is everything. Since 1965 we've completed well over 75 million square feet of roofing across Ontario.
Our history
Joseph LaFleche and his son Peter formed the business in the early 1960s as a general contracting company in London, Ontario. After Joe's passing in 1968, Peter ran the operation as sole owner, gradually shifting the focus toward waterproofing and roofing.
LaFleche Roofing was incorporated in 1974, with roofing service having become the prime focus of operations. As time went on, an increasing emphasis on the industrial, commercial and institutional roofing market took hold — and by 1980 the firm had moved right out of the residential marketplace.
Through the 1980s LaFleche Roofing enhanced its reputation for quality and expertise in low-slope roofing. A satellite operation centred in the Barrie–Orillia area launched in 1983, extending our service area north of Toronto.
In 1992, LaFleche Roofing (1992) Ltd. was incorporated, with Peter and his sons Mark and Chris as co-owners — reflecting the role Mark and Chris had come to play after learning the business first on the roofs, then in management. In 2003, Mark Garland, General Manager of the Barrie–Orillia division, became part-owner as well.
